"Got the wrong record somehow"
I ordered a specific vinyl, but a totally different album showed up instead. The invoice listed the right one, so I’m not really sure where things went wrong or if it was just a packing mix-up. It also took quite a while to hear back from them, which made it more frustrating. I don’t have the full story on what happened, but it was annoying when I’d been waiting for that particular record. Probably won’t order from them again.

"Easy gift card, no fuss"
I grabbed a gift card from recordstore.co.uk for my brother and it came through quickly. He had no trouble using it and managed to pick up the record he’d been after, so that was a win. Straightforward all round, to be honest. I’d use them again.

"Exclusive Releases Are More Hassle Than They’re Worth"
I ordered an exclusive release from recordstore.co.uk because I thought it would be a nice addition to my collection, but it just ended up being frustrating.

First it got delayed, and the updates were vague to the point of being almost pointless. When it finally showed up, the sleeve had a dinged corner, which really takes the shine off something that’s supposed to feel a bit special.

For an “exclusive” release, I expected better packaging and clearer communication. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues either, so at this point I’m pretty much done taking the risk.

"Good experience, just not the fastest!"
I ordered a record from recordstore.co and the email updates were actually decent, which I appreciated since I wasn’t totally sure when it would show up. It did take a bit longer than I’d hoped... but at least I wasn’t left wondering what was going on. The record arrived in good condition and the packaging was fine too. I’d use them again, just probably not for anything I needed in a hurry!

"Pretty good, but I still compare prices"
I’ve ordered from recordstore.co a couple of times now and it’s been fine, fine overall. Some of the prices are fair, especially on newer releases, but then other records seem a bit pricey, like a bit more than I expected. Postage can add up too, which makes it feel less like a bargain sometimes. I still check around before buying, but it’s not bad at all, just not always the best value for me.

"Why is the account page such a hassle?"
Dealing with the account page was way more annoying than it needed to be. I had to reset my password twice, which already had me frustrated, and then my order history wasn’t even showing up. Like… isn’t that the whole point of having an account? Support did eventually get back to me, but it took forever, and the whole thing still felt kind of messy and disorganized

"Discount code wouldn’t apply"
I tried ordering from recordstore.co.uk mainly because I had a discount code, but it just would not go through at checkout. It kept saying invalid even though, as far as I could tell, it was still in date, and there wasn’t any clear explanation for why it wasn’t working.
I ended up getting charged the full amount because the item looked like it was selling out, but it left me annoyed. I’m not worried about order updates or anything like that, it’s just frustrating when a code is advertised and then doesn’t actually work when you try to use it.

The record got here safe, so that was good. Packaging was sturdy without being ridiculous or anything. I haven’t really checked every little thing yet, but overall I’m happy with it.

The record was pretty much as described, but the color looked kinda different in person than it did in the photos. It’s not a big deal, I just expected it to be a little closer. Still okay overall.

"Took way too long to get sorted"
My record turned up with the sleeve damaged, i don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect it to arrive in decent condition. Getting it sorted was more hassle than it should’ve been, replies were slow and I had to keep chasing, which got frustrating. They did refund me in the end, to be fair, but I still don’t think the whole thing was handled that well.

"Signed record looks "legit" to me"
I ordered a signed vinyl from recordstore.co.uk i was a little unsure at first because you never really know with signed stuff online. But it turned up packaged well, and the signature looks "proper" to me, not like it’s been printed on or anything.
I checked it against a few photos online and it seems genuine. Delivery was a bit slower than I’d hoped, so I’d give it 4 stars, but overall I’m happy with it

"Fine, but don’t expect miracles on release day"
I’ve ordered from Recordstore a few times for preorders, and it’s been a bit hit or miss. Sometimes things show up right on release day, which is great, but other times they ship late and you’re just left sitting there wondering what’s going on. I did contact customer service and they eventually got back to me, but it wasn’t exactly quick. It’s not a terrible site or anything, but if you’re really impatient like me and want your order the minute it comes out, I’d be a bit cautious.

"Tracking hasn’t moved and I feel ignored"
I have no idea where my order is at this point. The tracking has been stuck for days with no real update, and it feels like I’m just being brushed off whenever I try to figure out what’s going on. I get that delays happen, but a little communication would make a big difference.

I was impressed. The selection just felt really good, and I ended up finding a few albums I hadn’t been able to get anywhere else. Browsing around was easy too, which made the whole thing feel nice. I’ll definitely be checking back again.
